Tubeless tyre repairs
Tubeless tyres have been around now from the early 1950s. Though a very old concept in many countries, in India it is a concept which has only started catching on now. Until the recent past most of the cars came with tube type tyres. If you take a look at the original equipment on the latest cars today you will find that leaving Maruti Alto, Zen and Tata Indica all other cars come only with tubeless tyres.
Tubeless tyres are tyres where in the tube is inbuilt in the tyre itself. There is no separate tube and the advantages of this kind of a tyre and in plenty. You just have to make sure that the rims of your car wheels are in good condition. There shouldn’t be any rust at all. Take you car to a tyre dealer and with one look at the rim they will be able to let you know whether you can switch over to Tubeless tyres. Your old rims can accommodate tubeless tyres by a small addition of a tubeless valve. You can fit any steel rim with tubeless tyres. Alloy wheels are an option always available to you but if you don’t want to shell out extra cash you can always fit tubeless tyres to your steel rims and still enjoy the same benefits.
